I think that the Horns better straighten out their workouts to avoid injuries to key players. They do it for the QB’s. Talking about shooting yourselves in the foot.

What’s the long term prognosis for Baxter and Clark? I can’t see an Achilles injury allowing Clark to ever be the same.

Plenty of players have had successful careers after an Achilles injury, time will tell though.

That’s going to be a career defining injury. Dang. At least he gets a top quality education if he sticks around

Who says it's not? We've had very few injuries compared to teams out there most years since Sark's been here imo. It was non contact.

Workouts have nothing to do with a torn achilles.

Plenty of Running Backs? It seems like all the cutting and quick movements would be tough after surgery.

D'Onta Foreman tore his Achilles in 2018. He's still playing in the NFL.

This. Non-contact injuries happen. When the soft-tissue injuries start to pile up (hamstring, groin, etc.), then it's time to wonder what's happening in the strength program.

I agree Jeff. But please tell me the team is gonna start practicing the running backs with a no contact jersey. Please. Bad luck or not, it’s up to the coaches to put a stop to what they can.

Well, dang! Too bad for the young men. I think we are still okay for the year. Losing CB is still the main issue in the room. The good news is that both can come back stronger (a benefit of rehab is you lift to strengthen other muscles) and better after they undergo a (excellent Frank Medina-style) rehab process. Thank God we still have 3. We have to move at least one and we have to increase our incoming RB take from 2 to 3. Or look in the portal.

He will be back if he has the right "want to." Achilles injury used to be a career killer but not any more. He can come back stronger and better.

Achilles makes sense. The reporting of a knee injury elsewhere was wrong.
Tough injury for a RB. He’s young, so hopefully he can return to form.

Yes let’s have the RBs ride bikes during practice. Then people can complain that they aren’t tough enough during the season.

Do you have any examples? Not trying to challenge you, actually courious. I still view this as a career ender and when I googled it, it was a bunch of guys who are barley clinging to roster spots after elite potential (JK Dobbins exhibit A)

Our own D'Onta Foreman, Marion Mack, Dan Marino, Cam Akers, James Robinson, Justice Hill, Kobe (Black Mamba) Bryant, Pat Ewing, Knicks, etc. There are more, especially in Basketball and Track and Field.

What happened to Red? I know he's more of a WR, but he's played the position before.
