Winston-Salem, North Carolina Beulah Marie Clatfelter 1924 — 2024 Beulah Marie Pope Clatfelter, 99, finished her earthly journey and entered eternal rest with her Lord Jesus on June 6, 2024. Beulah was born on August 12, 1924, to the late Lawrence H. Pope and Elsie Bates Pope in Haxtun, Colorado. Beulah is predeceased by her husband, Kenneth Clatfelter; son, Thomas Clatfelter; and daughter-in-law, Doris Clatfelter. Beulah is survived by her loving son, Richard Clatfelter (Carolyn); sisters, Shirley Ware and Donna Gilmore; seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and one great-great granddaughter. She was a graduate of U.S.C, Spartanburg School of Nursing ADN and a graduate of U.S.C, Columbia, BSN. She was a member of Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society. She was born October 1, 1923 in Spindale, NC to Vernon W. Yelton and Nelle Toms Yelton and was the last survivor of seven children. Fern served in the U.S. Navy working at the Navy Department in Washington, DC and was later employed at the Federal Reserve Bank.
