Tickets for Oasis' 2025 reunion gigs are set to go on general sale with hundreds of thousands of fans setting their sights on getting tickets. General sale for the band's tour next year will go on sale at 9am on Saturday, August 31.
After years of fighting and not speaking to each other the famous Gallagher brothers, Noel and Liam, have put their differences aside and are reuniting to bring Oasis back together. They are going on a huge UK and Ireland tour, which includes two dates in Cardiff, and fans are desperate to get their hands on tickets.
Like with most concerts nowadays there has been a complicated (ish) presale for the Oasis Live '25, with those who were successful in a presale ballot being emailed on Friday and told the official presale will begin at 7pm Friday night. The presale took place and tickets are already being sold for thousands on resale sites, which the band themselves have warned fans against on their social media accounts. Read more about that here.Find out about the latest events in Wales by signing up to our What's On newsletter here
We will keep you updated on the general sale and bring you all the latest updates you need to know about the Oasis Live '25 presale in the blog below.

Oasis issues new warning after tickets appear for resale on different sites
Oasis has posted an official message on X reminding people that tickets can only be resold via one of two official sites.
We have noticed people attempting to sell tickets on the secondary market since the start of the pre-sale. Please note, tickets can ONLY be resold, at face value, via @Ticketmaster and @Twickets. Tickets sold in breach of the terms and conditions will be canceled by the…

Plenty of happy Oasis fans to be had
While many are angry at missing out so far on tickets and at some being resold at extortionate prices, there are plenty of happy Oasis fans tonight who have managed to secure tickets via the authorised route.

People are reporting seeing Oasis tickets being resold online for over a thousand pounds, just minutes after the pre-sale started at 7pm.

Ticket prices have gone from SeeTickets' site
We saw that the ticket retailer shared a list of prices on Thursday, August 29, for the Oasis Live '25 gigs.
As the presale went live, these prices have now disappeared. It could be to do with the presale and the site being ready for general sale. We'll update you as soon as we know what's going on or if the price has changed.

Our fans in Rhondda and Caerphilly are 'over the moon'
Amy Pronger from Caerphilly, whose son Evan is a huge fan, said: "Over the moon, I’m still shaking!! It was easy but went for standing first of all, none left so got very nervous choosing other options. Our tickets were £150 plus £15 per ticket service fee, so more expensive than I would have liked."
Treorchy's Josie James added:"I don’t think I have ever been so stressed in my life and I am having palps- the prices are what we expected (128 each) and even though it was stressful, some might say it was an easy process."

There are some very happy Oasis fans out there
One fan on X (Twitter) said: "Holy forkin shirtballs! I GOT TICKETS!!!!!! OMG!!!! Massive shout-out to @born2run1982
for being the greatest friend alive getting a presale code! Manchester for my 40th bday with Oasis."
Another shared: "Ahahahaha YERRRRRS we're off to Oasis baby!"

How to buy non presale tickets for the Oasis Live '25 tour
Tickets for the UK dates go on sale from 9am on Saturday, August 31, 2024, and will be available from Ticketmaster, www.seetickets.com, and www.gigsandtours.com.
The official tickets will likely sell out very fast but there are always resale sites. Ticketmaster has fan resale where you normally can get resale tickets at face value. Twickets are another option for this.

Sales are open
Presale for Oasis in Cardiff is now open.
There are thousands of people queuing.

Some fans are already 'queuing' for tickets before 7pm sale starts
Some Oasis fans are patiently being held in an 'online waiting room' before the pre-sale gets underway at 7pm.
Only fans that have been issued with a pre-sale code today are eligible to try and buy tickets tonight.
For everyone else, the scramble starts tomorrow morning at 9am.
Robert Harries
Tickets may be cancelled if they're sold on via 'unauthorised' means
Fans have been warned that any ticket resales must be done through “official resale partners”, and that selling tickets on through “unauthorised resale platforms” will result in a breach of terms and conditions.
The official Oasis website states:
Ticket resale is permitted at no more than the price you paid (face value + booking fees). Please only use the official resale partners www.twickets.live and Ticketmaster. Selling tickets through unauthorised resale platforms will breach these T&Cs and those tickets may be cancelled.

What will happen next with presale
If you are successful then you will have received your presale code already. The presale will start at 7pm and run until 10pm on Friday, August 30.
What normally happens is if you don't have one already you will need to set up an account for the ticket site the presale code is for. You will then need to enter your presale code and wait in a queue to try and get tickets.
Is there an age limit on tickets?
Yes, for Cardiff it's as follows:
General Admission - No under 14s. Under 16s accompanied by an adult (18+).
Reserved Seating – No under 5s. Under 12s accompanied by an adult (18+).
Is there a restriction on how many tickets you can buy?

5pm cut off fast approaches
Presale for Oasis Live '25 is due to go live in just over two hours, but there was lots of talk about the cut-off for codes coming over yesterday was 5pm. If that's still the case then there's still 18 minutes left.

Oasis fans planning to make friendship bracelets
Oasis fans are making friendship bracelets for the band's reunion shows, carrying on the tour tradition popularised by Swifties. UK concert-goers went wild for homemade bracelets this summer Taylor Swift fans at her Eras Tour shows traded themed bracelets.
Now, Oasis fans are keen to join in with the trend — and it's got the backing of Anaïs Gallagher, Noel's daughter, reports the Mirror. Anais last night said on the social media site: "“One thing I won’t stand for is the ageism and the misogyny around people getting tickets. Sorry if a 19-year-old girl in a pink cowboy hat wants to be there, I will have my friendship bracelets ready.”

Sales of Oasis back-catalogue surge
Sales of Oasis’s back catalogue have surged by more than six times the number the previous week, amid huge demand ahead of their comeback concert tickets going on sale, according to HMV. The entertainment retailer said it also witnessed a jump in pre-orders for the band’s 30th anniversary edition of their Definitely Maybe album, which was released on Friday.
This week, sales across its full catalogue of records and CDs was 526% higher than during the previous week at HMV. Sales of their Definitely Maybe LP rose by 443% week on week, while What’s The Story (Morning Glory) and Knebworth 1996 rose 684% and 209% respectively.

Previous Oasis gigs in Wales
During their time as a band Oasis have played four different venues in Cardiff and in a different Welsh city. That’s right, on May 3, 1994, three months before the release of their debut album Definitely Maybe, Oasis went on stage at TJ’s in Newport.
Oasis’ next Welsh gig was in Cardiff, but not where you might think. It was in a modest sized room at Cardiff University almost a month later, on June 2, 1994. By this time, Supersonic had been released as a single and word was beginning to spread that this band from Manchester might be the next big thing.
By the next time they were in Wales their lives had changed immeasurably. Definitely Maybe had hit the charts and Oasis had toured the US and large parts of Europe. But they returned to Wales for a third time in less than a year with a gig at the iconic Astoria club (formerly Top Rank) on Queen Street in Cardiff, a venue that also hosted The Beatles, Led Zepellin and U2 over the years.
That was the last time Wales saw Oasis before they became globally famous, because when they next arrived in Cardiff they had already released their seminal second album, (What’s the Story) Morning Glory?, and undoubtedly become the biggest band in the UK.
A year and a half later and Oasis were back at the same arena for another two shows on December 10 and 11, 1997, a few months after the release of their third album, Be Here Now, which despite lacking the critical acclaim afforded to its predecessor, still sold millions of copies.
Two further shows at the same venue took place five years later on December 8 and 9, before a much bigger gig three years later on December 10, 2005, when the band headlined the ‘Noise and Confusion’ concert in front of a packed Millennium Stadium, now the Principality Stadium.
Fans had to wait three years before the band’s next Welsh performances, which took place once again at the CIA on October 23 and 24, 2008, before Oasis’ last show in Wales took place at the Millennium Stadium on June 12, 2009.

What's Line of Duty and Trigger Point star Vicky McClure got to do with Oasis?
It is not just Oasis fans who are excited to see the band back together, celebrities are too. One of our favourite celebs, Line of Duty star Vicky McClure, who is married to Welsh DJ Jonny Owen, was the voiceover for the promotion video for the tour.
She said: "The coolest secret I've ever kept!" about knowing about the tour before anyone else.

Possible support acts for the Oasis Live '25 tour
The support act for the concerts has not been confirmed but popular indie band Blossoms teased the comeback at the end of their Wythenshawe Park gig on Sunday night so there is speculation the Stockport lads could be on the bill. During their set, Blossoms even sang Oasis' hit song Half The World Away. They also supported Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds earlier this year.
Another band that could be supporting is Kasabian. Oasis guitarist Paul Arthurs, otherwise known as Bonehead, uploaded a selfie of him with frontman Sergio Pizzorno. The post was made around the same time as Noel and Liam teased their new tour, which has led many fans to assume the band could be joining Oasis next summer.
