Boston Marathon 2025: Results, who won this year’s race?

-- WINNER: John Korir of Kenya has won the men’s division of the Boston Marathon with a time of 2:04:45. There’s a family connection here. That’s the third-best time in the history of the race. John Korir is the brother of Wesley Korir, who won the Boston Marathon in 2012.
-- WINNER: American Sussanah Scaroni is the winner of the women’s wheelchair division. This is Scaroni’s second win in Boston. She last won in 2023.
-- WINNER: Marcel Hug has won the men’s wheelchair division with a time of 1:21:33 in a dominant performance. This is the Silver Bullet’s eighth win at the Boston Marathon. He is second in all-time wins in the wheelchair division behind Ernst van Dyk, who won 10 times.

That includes runners who have run a blazing time to qualify as well as those who are running for charity. This is the part of the race where you’ll see someone running in a banana suit.
